About this place
Some diners recommend ordering the anago as soon as you sit down. One person said it took about 30 minutes to arrive, but was worth the wait. The menu also features a large roll of tender anago with cucumber. Choose between enjoying the eel as nigiri or pairing it with cucumber in a roll.
The listed menu includes premium nigiri, with 9 pieces for 3,800 yen, and extra-premium nigiri, with 11 pieces for 4,800 yen. Sashimi platters of 3 and 5 kinds are also listed, at 2,800 yen and 3,800 yen respectively. You can make nigiri the focus or opt for sashimi; diners who have tried the sashimi have praised the freshness of the fish. A platter is one way to put the fish centre stage.
Roll options on the listed menu include torotaku and wild yellowtail belly, each priced at 1,200 yen. There is also a large seafood roll, as well as large rolls with grilled salmon and salmon roe, or anago and cucumber. That makes it easy to add a roll alongside nigiri or build a meal around rolls. Some diners have paired sushi with grilled fish or chawanmushi, a savoury steamed egg custard. Beer and other alcoholic drinks are available, making this a place to linger over small plates with dinner.
This sushi bar serves dinner for dine-in guests and also accommodates solo diners. Reservations are available, so you can plan ahead if there’s a dish you’d like to take your time over.
